How to install a bicycle inner tube:

  1. Remove the wheel from your bike.
  2. Deflate the old inner tube.
  3. Use tire levers to remove the old tire from the rim.
  4. Inspect the rim for any sharp objects that could puncture the new inner tube.
  5. Remove the valve cap from the new inner tube.
  6. Partially inflate the new inner tube and insert it into the tire.
  7. Make sure that the valve is sticking out of the rim hole.
  8. Use your hands to push the tire onto the rim.
  9. Use tire levers to pry the tire over the rim, starting at the opposite side of the valve.
  10. Once the tire is seated on the rim, inflate it to the recommended pressure.
  11. Screw the valve cap back on.
  12. Reinstall the wheel on your bike.
